Quality Assurance Manager
Our client, a global leader in the beverage industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in Elmsford, NY. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead the QA department in supporting production, sanitation, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, industry experience, and a deep knowledge of food safety and quality systems, which will align successfully in the organization.
The Quality Assurance Manager position is responsible for overseeing total quality compliance from raw materials through to finished products, ensuring all regulatory, safety, and company standards are met.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Elmsford, NY
Salary: $100k to $150k
Shift: 1st shift
Job Duties Include:
- Lead all quality assurance efforts to maintain product standards.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation standards including CIP systems and water treatment
- Oversee permitting and communication with government agencies
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency in QA testing, record-keeping, and batching processes
- Collaborate with operations and sales teams to improve quality indices and resolve issues
- Manage departmental safety, budgets, and policy compliance
- Supervise vendors and contractors to maintain food safety and operational standards
- Drive continuous improvement and process innovation
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree (Technical or Food Science preferred) or equivalent experience
- 5 years of QA management experience in the beverage or consumer products industry
- Experience with HACCP, GMP, ISO (9001, 22000, 14001), SPC, and GLP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SPC software; SAP knowledge a plus
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, project management, and changing management skills
- Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred
- HACCP Coordinator certification a plus
