Manual Grinder – Hobart, WI
Our client designs and manufactures finishing solutions for the commercial inkjet market, specializing in providing custom and standard machinery for various industries like printing, packaging, and document processing.
As a Manual Grinder, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of grinding machines to produce precision parts. You will have to read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine machining requirements, monitor the grinding process, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
Job Title: Manual Grinder
Location: Hobart, WI
Pay: $20/hr - $30/hr
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday 7AM – 3:30PM
What's the Job?
- Operate and configure manual grinders to manufacture high-accuracy components.
- Determine machining requirements by reviewing technical drawings and blueprints.
- Choose and mount grinding wheels, fixtures, and other tooling suited to the material and job specifications.
- Verify completed parts meet dimensional standards and surface finish expectations using precision measuring equipment.
- Ensure all parts conform to established tolerances and finish requirements throughout production.
What's Needed?
- 1 year of experience operating manual grinding machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical or trade school certification in machining preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
