Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager to join their team.
Job Title: Assistant Accounting Manager
Location: Pinckard, AL (Relocation Assistance Provided)
What's the Job?
- Oversee all accounting and finance functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across the organization.
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Lead cash management activities such as disbursements, credit cards, and foreign exchange transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports while supporting audits and budget planning.
- Collaborate with corporate and external partners to improve accounting processes and support system transitions (ERP/SAP).
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, including in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, corporate tax fundamentals, and ERP systems (experience with SAP or BaaN preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Demonstrated integrity, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
