Shift - Monday through Friday
Hours: 7am - 330pm
Pay: $25-$27/hr
Position Description:
This role is fit for a person with the ability to wear multiple hats, track tasks and be extremely organized. Must be a creative thinker with the ability to imagine, invent and implement processes, using software applications, for streamlined and scalable systems for a fast-growing company. Candidate will have the ability to manage and track small projects, deal with customers and suppliers, and support the overall objective of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
o Develop systems and checklists to properly accomplish track and organize tasks.
o Maintain records of client accounts and contacts.
o Responsible for tracking and receiving orders, entering order data into accounting system, reconciling accounting data against related documentation, communicating with managers regarding order status and delivery.
o Receive packages sign packing slips and scan into order tracking system.
o Match packing slips to vendor invoices
o Verify costs match Purchase Orders rendered to vendors
o Communicate order status and delivery to customers when direct shipped.
o Maintain relationships with multiple vendors including ongoing efforts to negotiate best pricing and service among those vendors.
o Track purchase orders placed by the Purchasing Manager.
Qualifications:
o Must be self-driven, highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
o Must be very detail oriented and proactively work to take over small details from management.
o Excellent organization skills to be able to carry out assignments with minimal supervision.
o Ability to work on multiple, concurrent tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
o Detail oriented and strong problem-solving capabilities.
o Ability to adjust work schedule to meet deadlines and work independently.
o Exceptional follow-up skills; proactive approach to issues.
o Strong computer skills: Excellent Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and Word document skills.
o Associates degree (Bachelors preferred) in Business, Technology or related discipline Strong attention to detail.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees, along with working with external clients
o Capable of prioritization of multiple tasks in a deadline sensitive environment.
o Strong work ethic necessary for success in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
o Highest ethics and ability to deal with confidential issues and documentation.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
Three to five years of general administration experience.
Experience or exposure to purchasing, and customer service a must.
