Duties Description
The HR intern will serve as the vital link between the HR department and the seasonal intern cohort. Under the supervision of various HR Managers, the intern will provide high level administrative and project management execution of the Summer Internship Program. The primary purpose of the role is twofold:
Liaison & Culture: To act as the “face” of the program, fostering a sense of community among interns and ensuring clear communication between participants and leadership.
Operational Support: To gain comprehensive exposure to the HR lifecycle by rotating through and supporting the Benefits, Administration and Onboarding functions.
Work Performed
The intern will act as the “Internship Program Liaison” where they will serve as the primary point of contact and “culture builder” for the intern cohort, bridging the gap between students and HR leadership. Additionally, they will facilitate the welcome process for all incoming interns.
Event Coordination – The intern will assist with planning and execution of intern initiatives, including our “Speaker Series” as well as the ‘Intern Luncheon”.
Learning Objectives/Skills to be developed: By the conclusion of the internship, the intern will have gained professional proficiency and hands-on experience in the following areas:
Liaison & Diplomacy: Develop the ability to act as a neutral intermediary between a peer group (Interns) and senior management, refining professional communication styles.
Public Speaking & Facilitation: Sharpen presentation skills by introducing speakers and leading group discussions during intern events.

Minimum Qualifications
Education level required: Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program.
