Empire Solar has been around since 2015 and has experienced rapid growth in the last few years — we achieved over $50 million in sales last year alone, we currently have about 90 employees on the team and are continuing to scale.
About the Job:
We are seeking motivated, personable, and driven individuals to join our team as Solar Sales Representatives. This is a high-income opportunity for candidates who are eager to build a career in sales, with full training provided and pre-qualified leads supplied.
This role is focused on meeting with homeowners through pre-set appointments to educate them on solar solutions and help guide them through the decision-making process. There’s no cold calling or door knocking involved — the company provides qualified leads, so the focus is really on building relationships and closing deals. Representatives conduct either in-home or virtual consultations, which typically last about 1–2 hours, where they’ll present solar options, explain financing, answer questions, and help homeowners determine what makes the most sense for them.
On a typical day, reps usually manage around 3–4 appointments. The schedule is flexible and driven by booked appointments, but candidates do need to have availability Monday through Saturday since that’s when homeowners are available to meet.
The position is fully commission-based, with very strong earning potential — many successful reps can earn anywhere from $200,000 to $500,000 annually depending on performance. During the training period, there is guaranteed training pay while new hires ramp up and learn the process, which usually lasts up to about a month depending on progression.
The company also provides a very structured onboarding and training program. New hires receive in-class sales training from one of the Co-Owners, learn about solar products and financing options, shadow top-performing reps, and receive ongoing mentorship and development. Pay: $200,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
