Electrician – Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to support the electrical operations of multiple commercial buildings. This position requires someone who is comfortable working independently on assigned tasks, but also able to collaborate effectively with a large team that includes property managers, project managers, engineers, and various trades. The ideal candidate can manage their workload, communicate clearly, and adapt to working under different supervisors depending on the project or building.
The Electrician will play an important role in maintaining safe and efficient electrical systems, supporting construction and renovation projects, and helping ensure daily building operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems across multiple buildings.

Complete electrical work for tenant build-outs and renovation projects.

Work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate with a large team when needed.

Coordinate with different managers, project leads, and contractors.

Install and troubleshoot low-voltage systems (fire alarms, access control, cameras).

Inspect and maintain generators, UPS systems, and other electrical equipment.

Respond to electrical issues, including occasional after-hours calls.

Assist with basic building maintenance when required.
Qualifications
Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience, preferably in commercial or multi-building environments.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.

Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks without supervision.

Comfortable working as part of a team and taking direction from multiple managers or project leads.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 60 lbs, climbing ladders, standing, and kneeling for extended periods.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
