Shifts: Various shifts available

Responsible for ensuring food safety and quality standards in the Empire Kosher’s processing plant by performing pre-operational inspections, work in process and final product inspection, quality checks, SSOP, customer requirements, company policies and procedures. To monitor and perform verifications of critical control points throughout the manufacturing process ensuring strict adherence to the company’s written HACCP program. Recommends and oversees proper corrective actions are initiated and documented where required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Doing All work assigned by Production Manager and/or Mill Manager
• Ability to work in a TEAM Environment
• Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Operating manufacturing equipment to acceptable standards Maintaining all manufacturing equipment to acceptable standards
• Performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions to supervisor and other Feed Mill Team Members
• Inventory Measuring and Recording
• Communicating manufacturing conditions with other Feed Mill Team Members
• Tracking and accurately recording all manufacturing processes · Maintaining a SAFE working environment
• Maintaining a clean working area
• Cleaning other areas of the mill that are assigned.
• Testing and Unloading Ingredients
• Dumping ingredient bags in micro room
• Greasing Pellet machines every 4hrs of run time
• Checking Coolers
• Cleaning Machines at the end of shift

Qualifications:

• Ability to work well with others
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience working with heavy equipment
• Experience operating a forklift
• Ability to safely lift 75 lbs
• Not afraid of heights
• Agriculture knowledge a plus
• Reliable Attendance (including transportation)
