Maintenance Technician (Residential Rentals)

About the Position
We’re seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain and repair our portfolio of rental properties in the Muskegon, MI and Grand Rapids area. Most of our properties are 1–4 unit residential rentals. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and experienced in general property maintenance and light renovation work.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants
- Perform general repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, etc.)
- Assist with unit turnovers and renovation projects as needed
- Pick up materials and supplies as required
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment while on-site
- Communicate clearly with tenants and property owner regarding work performed
Requirements
- Experience: General maintenance or handyman experience preferred
- Tools: Must have your own basic tools (we will replace any broken tools and provide consumables such as blades, bits, etc.)
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and ability to pick up materials locally
- Professionalism: Must be courteous, respectful, and professional with tenants and other team members
- Work Ethic: Reliable, hard-working, and self-motivated
