Summary
Represents Delta Wholesale Liquors and its brands to licensed retail accounts by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Learns and executes the
seven basics of Delta Wholesale Liquors, Inc.: distribution, position, display, pricing, point-of-sale, cold box, and
rotation in each account.
Services and maintains current accounts with orders for Delta Products and customer service.
Travels through assigned territory daily to call on regular customers to solicit orders, presents items for distribution, maintains Delta merchandising standards, and handles damages and off-condition product.
Secures feature ads and displays.
Quotes bottle cost and target pricing to customers.
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of delivery schedules.
Confers with Sales Manager and Marketing & Programming Manager to resolve customer problems.
Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
Identifies and responds to customers' needs.
Maintains frequent and open communication with Sales Manager, Marketing & Programming Manager, and the Vice President.
Prepares and/or maintains distribution tracking reports, planning and goals, case quotas, and dollar objectives and other administrative tasks as assigned.
Executes sales plans and maintains accounts according to company standards.
Tracks progress of goals on a daily basis.
Participates in supplier work-withs.
Continually maintains training and product knowledge.
Delivers emergency orders when needed.
Attends trade shows and special events to represent Delta Wholesale Liquors, Inc. and its brands..
Reviews accounts receivable and maintains collections from assigned accounts according to Delta policies and TN ABC laws.
Conducts business according to local and state laws.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software; Microsoft Word-Word Processing software; Explorer Internet software; Microsoft Outlook, and SAP Business Software.
