Empire Distributors, a Leading Beverage Distributor with excellent benefits, competitive wages and the potential for growth opportunities is now hiring a Customer Service Representative. This position provides customer service and sales assistance for the Sales Division. This individual communicates directly with customers and Sales Representatives and assists in resolving problems. Candidate records information and processes files to ensure appropriate documentation is maintained.
Salary: $18.00/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Assist On-premise managers with trade events.
- Deals directly with sales representatives, customers and warehouse employees.
- Talks with customers and sales representatives by phone or in person and receives orders.
- Addresses customer concerns.
- Supports Empire Sales Representatives by researching products and history and relaying information.
- Processes all necessary paperwork and correspondence to establish new accounts.
- Maintains control and processes actions involving order voids, return orders, call backs and salesperson copies.
- Maintains files for all documentation and correspondence.
- Completes paper work for order pick-ups, no charges, and credits.
- Updates customer files and information as needed.
- Addresses complaints concerning service rendered for all accounts.
Refers complaints of service failures to appropriate sales representative and/or manager. Runs Bev-1 reports for daily sales. - Verifies and validates ABC permits.
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Education and/or Experience
College degree preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
