Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to oversee our directional drilling projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management within the drilling industry and a proven track record of successfully managing drilling operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting, for directional drilling projects.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and safe drilling operations.
  • Conduct site inspections, assess ground conditions, and implement safety protocols to mitigate risks.
  • Procure, maintain, and manage specialized drilling equipment and machinery required for projects.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to obtain permits and ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Monitor project progress, manage costs, and implement quality control measures to meet industry standards.
  • Resolve technical issues and address operational challenges to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among project teams.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in construction management within the directional drilling or oil/gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of directional drilling techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or relevant industry certifications preferred.
  • Ability to travel and work in various locations as needed. (Colorado Marketplace)
