Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled, evidence-based wound care treatments as ordered by physicians
- Evaluate and document wound healing progress using current protocols
- Educate residents, families, and staff on proper wound care and preventive practices
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive treatment planning
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to skin and wound outcomes
- Current Georgia RN/LPN License (Required)
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care
- Prior wound care experience preferred but not required—training available for the right candidate
