Responsibilities
The ADON performs diverse duties to support quality resident care, including:
- Coordinating comprehensive nursing care
- Implementing specialized clinical procedures and programs
- Collaborating with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers on departmental goals
- Ensuring compliance with operational policies and state and federal regulations
- Deliver safe, efficient, and compliant resident care
- Participate in the nursing home survey process
- Oversee infection control and quality assurance initiatives
- Supervise, mentor, and train nursing staff
- Organize and support in-service education and training programs
- Active RN license
- 3 years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
- Strong team orientation and communication skills
- Infection Prevention experience preferred
- Experience in training and educating staff
- Monday–Friday
- Alternating weekend on-call rotation
