About The Role
The Director of Talent Acquisition will lead and elevate all recruiting functions across Empire Care Centers, driving innovative hiring strategies to attract top-tier talent across clinical, operational, and leadership positions.
This leader will oversee recruiting operations, talent pipelines, sourcing strategy, recruiter development, and workforce planning while partnering directly with executive leadership, regional operations, and center leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all talent acquisition and recruiting operations across the organization
- Develop and execute strategic recruitment initiatives to support organizational growth
- Build strong pipelines for key leadership and critical staffing roles
- Drive hiring performance metrics including time-to-fill, quality of hire, retention, and recruiter productivity
- Manage, mentor, and develop the recruiting team to maximize performance
- Partner closely with Operations, Clinical Leadership, and HR to forecast workforce needs
- Optimize recruitment workflows, systems, and candidate experience
- Strengthen sourcing strategies across digital platforms, networking channels, referral programs, and outreach campaigns
- Ensure timely and effective communication throughout the candidate lifecycle
- Monitor hiring trends, labor market conditions, and competitive recruitment strategies
- Build innovative retention-focused hiring initiatives that align talent with culture
- Support employer branding efforts that position Empire as a top destination for healthcare professionals

- Understands that hiring the right people is the foundation of operational excellence
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of talent acquisition leadership experience
- Multi-site healthcare recruiting experience strongly preferred
- Skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute recruiting experience highly desired
- Proven success leading high-volume and leadership recruitment initiatives
- Strong data-driven decision-making and performance management skills
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
