Key Responsibilities
- Service Provisioning: Set up and configure telecommunications services for new and existing customers, including internet, phone, and data services.
- System Configuration: Work with internal systems to properly configure services, including network settings, IP addresses, and user accounts.
- System Support: Participate in configuring and updating systems logic driving process.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues during the provisioning process, ensuring minimal disruptions for customers.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and service activations in internal systems and databases.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure smooth provisioning and successful service delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks and tests on equipment and services to ensure compliance with company standards and customer expectations.
- On-call Support: Provide on-call support as needed for urgent provisioning issues or customer concerns.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while installing and configuring services.
- Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications equipment (routers, modems, switches) and networking concepts (IP, TCP/IP, DNS, etc.).
- Familiarity with provisioning systems, software tools, and CRM platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and internal teams.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a provisioning technician or similar role in the telecommunications industry.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network , CCNA) are a plus.
