About the Role
EMPIGO Technologies is seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with both standard user driven systems, and enterprise-level systems while making a meaningful impact on our clients' success. You will be the "Swiss Army knife" of the organization. You’ll support clients, manage infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance across platforms. Responsibilities
- Provide escalation support for multiple clients across the organization
- Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure environments
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues
- Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Maintain system documentation and develop operational procedures
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams on technical projects
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
Technical Focus Areas
- Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting and administration
- User account and security policy management
- Network performance monitoring and resolution
- Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Cloud services and infrastructure (Azure, Microsoft 365)
Qualifications
Experience & Education
- 4–6 years of experience in systems administration and IT support
- High school diploma with relevant experience, OR Associate's degree in IT-related field, OR relevant professional certifications
- Proven success in managing enterprise-level systems and networks
Certifications
- CompTIA A (required) or equivalent demonstrated experience
- CompTIA Network or Security (preferred)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar (a plus)
