We're seeking a Deskside Support Technician in the Indianapolis, IN area with the ability to commute to clients within the Indianapolis area. This is a great opportunity to further your IT career by working directly with a variety of systems and clients. You’ll be the go-to person for on-site technical support, helping our clients stay up and running smoothly.
What You’ll Need:
- High School diploma with 2-4 years of IT support experience
- Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A , M365 Fundamentals)
- An Associate’s degree or higher in an IT-related field
- Advanced certifications like CompTIA Network , Security , or M365 Administrator Associate are a Plus.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide friendly and effective on-site support, ensuring positive experiences for all end-users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues with both Windows and Mac OS devices.
- Work within established SLAs to respond to phone and email support requests in a timely manner.
- Escalate more complex issues to higher-level support as needed while efficiently managing and triaging incoming tickets.
- Document your solutions and processes to contribute to the team's knowledge base.
- Operate in a dynamic environment where you’ll need to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Skills We’re Looking For:
- Basic troubleshooting skills with Windows and Mac OS
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Azure, and Active Directory
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- A willingness to learn and ask questions, and the ability to follow established processes
