Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated On-Call In-Home Caregiver with experience in In-Home Care Services to cover shifts in the Santa Maria area when there is a call out. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in caregiving, particularly in home care settings, geriatrics, and ADL care. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our client, allowing him to maintain his independence while receiving the care they needs.

As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing our clients' quality of life and ensuring their comfort and well-being at home. This position requires a commitment to delivering personalized care while respecting the dignity and privacy of those you serve.

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8 to 2 pm or 10 to 2 pm

Empathyhands Homecare is seeking an experienced caregiver (CNA or HHA preferred) to provide in-home care services for our clients. This position requires hands-on assistance with mobility and personal care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Transfers from wheelchair to bed using proper body mechanics
• Sponge baths and personal hygiene care
• Feeding assistance
• Assist our client with Dementia care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, range-of-motion exercises, and toileting.
• Provide him with companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Support clients with mobility assistance
• Medication reminder and monitor health conditions. inc
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
• Fall prevention and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in home care required
• CNA or HHA certification preferred
• Experience with safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Ability to lift and assist using proper transfer techniques
• Reliable, professional, and compassionate
• Ability to work consistent day, afternoon, and no evening shifts

Monday through Fridays
