Environmental Services Tech

Job Overview

We're seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role is essential in preventing the spread of infection and ensuring the facility remains sanitary and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, public areas, and common spaces
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility
• Remove trash and replace waste receptacle liners
• Clean furniture, fixtures, windows, vents, and equipment
• Change bed linens and replenish room supplies as needed
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and disinfectants
• Follow OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, and facility safety guidelines
• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of environmental services, housekeeping, janitorial, or related experience
• High School Diploma/GED, related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Must be able to read and write English to understand instructions and chemical labels
• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills
