Job Purpose

Start your accounting journey with Emovis! This is a great opportunity for a college student or recent grad who is ready to start applying their knowledge with on-the-job experience in accounting.  You will be responsible for managing the monthly closing process inclusive but not limited to A/P, Entering Vendor Invoices, Deposit Customer Checks in the Bank Check the mail and other office activities, Fixed Assets for distinct reporting entities (North America and Canada). 

Responsibilities  

• Manage AP process – inputting and coding vendor invoices to proper G/L Accounts, process and prepare checks as required. 
• Responsible for transactional entries into General Ledger. 
• Balance and reconcile Bank accounts. 
• Reconcile monthly selected Balance Sheet accounts. 
• Research and investigate all discrepancies. 
• Assist in preparing and following efficient policies and procedures with the Finance and administration areas of the company.
• Supporting efforts throughout external and internal audits. 

Requirements

Education:

• Be enrolled in or have completion of, an Associates or Bachelor of Science in Accounting is required.
  
• No certifications required

Experience:

• No experience necessary!  
  

Experience:

• Strong Computer and Excel skills.
• Excellent communication.
• Strong work skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule during monthly closing.

• Orlando, FL (this is an onsite position, local candidates only please.)
