What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Therapist position at Emotesy Child and Family Counseling Services?
If you are interested in helping children and adolescents who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, and social difficulties, you may be a good fit for Emotesy. We are looking for a licensed mental health therapist to join our practice in the Spring. In addition to competitive pay, Emotesy provides advertising, EHR system, billing services, and case consultations. We're conveniently located off of 164th in Lynnwood which means easy access to I-5, 405, and the Boeing-Everett freeway.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Familiar with play therapy techniques and interventions.
- Deliver child mental health counseling and parent coaching via telehealth and in-office.
- Maintain current notes and charts on all clients.
- Submit your notes on the provided EHR system and we do the billing!
- Apply best practices and stay up to date on training related to child mental health and play therapy.
- Hold a business license in WA or in the process of obtaining one.
- Interested in 15 client hours/week.
You might be a good fit if:
- You enjoy working with clients between the ages of 4-12.
- You have experience utilizing play therapy techniques to treat challenges related to ADHD, divorce, trauma, anxiety, and other mood disorders.
- You have a MA/MS Degree in psychology or counseling.
- You are currently licensed in WA state.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
