The Physician Talent Management Team at Emory Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Physician Liaison to support and enhance our physician recruitment efforts. This role is instrumental in delivering a highly personalized, best-in-class candidate experience while strengthening community partnerships and supporting strategic growth initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to enhance the physician recruitment process and implement innovative solutions that elevate the overall candidate experience.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the communities surrounding Emory facilities to effectively showcase area highlights, support candidate engagement, and coordinate seamless interview logistics.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with community and corporate partners—including schools, real estate professionals, athletic organizations, and local venues—as well as internal departments such as Marketing.
- Create and design digital materials to support recruitment and strategic initiatives, including presentations, dashboards, charts, and reports using tools such as Canva, Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Provide recruiters and service line leaders with actionable insights on market trends, physician workforce data, and growth projections to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with Emory’s Business Development team to strengthen referral networks and support the successful onboarding of new physicians.
- Participate in candidate visits to deliver a high-touch, professional interview experience, including articulating referral pathways and market opportunities.
- Support the development and implementation of enterprise-wide best practices by creating standardized tools, resources, and processes.
- Develops and implements marketing/sales plans to increase patient volume in EHC services.
- Develops strategy, planning, and implementation of marketing activities.
- Establishes and maintains a database of referring physicians relative to demographics, referral trends, and details related to other customers as appropriate.
- Develops mechanism to measure the effectiveness and success rates of marketing activities, including ROI rates.
- Facilitates relationships with community physicians and Emory physicians by direct communication to generate steerage of referral patterns and increase revenue into the system.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field and three years experience or a Master's degree in business, public health, or Healthcare Administration.
- Must have previous experience writing and implementing marketing/sales plans.
- Must have previous experience in physician relations.
