RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Corporate Director, Talent Acquisition is accountable for the overall strategy, design, operation, and management of Talent Acquisition initiatives, practices, policies, and systems for Emory Healthcare.
- This position applies solid business strategy, project management methodology, communications, and leadership skills to efficiently and cost-effectively assure a high caliber and diverse workforce that will support Emory's culture, mission, and values.
- The Corporate Director is responsible for designing and executing a hiring strategy the drives continual process improvement across the Talent Acquisition team and delivers seamless service to the organization.
- They will oversee a centralized team of talent acquisition managers, consultants and specialists that support the HR Shared Services operational model.
- As the leader of the TA function, they will play an integral role in refining the collaborative culture within Talent Acquisition and foster a work environment that promotes productivity, operational efficiency, teamwork and service.
- The Corporate Director will proactively consult with healthcare operations senior leadership to identify TA needs and design and deploy innovative employee recruitment strategies to meet those needs.
- They will work collaboratively with fellow HR leaders, both within the hospitals and corporate functions, to ensure that talent solutions are effective for the healthcare system including with Workforce Strategy senior leader and associated teams for talent solutions, recruitment marketing, hiring projects, and other strategic initiatives.
- Through their TA management team, they will oversee the recruitment workflow, sourcing strategies, recruitment operations, partnership with HR Technology on maximizing the applicant tracking system and compliance with applicable regulations.
- They are fully accountable for the attainment of expected service levels and the overall success of talent acquisition services.
- Master's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, Bachelor's required.
- PHR/SPHR strongly desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to function as a facilitator, teacher, coach, strategic partner, and consultant is required.
- Basic financial acumen and knowledge of HR systems and process management.
- Ability to build relationships across an organization and influence senior leader.
