We're seeking ICU Nurses for the Coordinator Nutritional Support Role!!
Key Responsibilities
- Assesses chronically, acutely and critically ill patients who have some degree of malnutrition.
- Participates in planning and implementing nutritional support therapies, tube feedings and the intravenous administration of nutrients.
- Oversees nursing care of patients receiving parenteral and enteral nutritional support and ensures adherence to nutritional support guidelines.
- Monitors patient response to therapy and evaluates the effectiveness of the nutritional support care plans.
- Serves as a resource person to physicians, nurses, patients and family members.
- A bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, of which one year must be in IV therapy and one year in an intensive care unit.
- Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
