Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Contract: 13 weeks (contract to hire)
Pay rate: $21/hour
Needed:
Data Entry/Customer Service/Payroll/Office experience.
Manager is flexible, with employees who have diverse career histories
Responsibilities:
- Process weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls
- Enter employee updates and prepare payroll reports
- Resolve payroll issues and discrepancies
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with policies and regulations
- Provide email and phone support to internal staff
- Perform additional assigned duties
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
- 1–3 years of payroll or data entry experience
- Experience with ADP or Kronos preferred
- Strong MS Office skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
