LOGISTICS COORDINATOR – IMPORT/EXPORT
$36k -$45k yearly, On site in Mobile AL office only, M-F
Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator – Import/Export is a full-time entry-level position supporting the Operations teams in air and ocean transport. Responsibilities include all aspects of transportation, including communication with the office/agent, customs, and the client. Ensures quality follow-up of import/export shipments; communicates thoroughly both internally and externally.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Create and process ocean/air import/export documents.
• Coordinate and arrange shipping freight with our Overseas and US agents and partners.
• Track cargo from origin to the final destination; check shipment status, PODs and charges, follow up shipments for final ETA date.
• Provide exceptional Customer Service.
• Communicate with Airlines/Steamship lines.
• Create invoices.
• Process/arrange payments.
• Support and maintain the Quality System (ISO) by working closely with management, sales, and/or operations to ensure goals and objectives are met with regard to the function(s) of this position.
• Ensure adherence to procedures for any issues of non-conformance that could or do directly affect the success of the Quality System.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
· Experience in international logistics operations and customer service is desired but not essential.
· Minimum high school diploma or GED.
· Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US.
Salary : $36,000 - $45,000
