Role Description
The Air Export Agent will handle day-to-day responsibilities related to air export shipments. Key tasks include coordinating shipments with clients, carriers, and international partners, organizing export documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role also involves customer service, troubleshooting shipment issues, and ensuring timely deliveries. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Romulus, MI.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to liaise effectively with clients and external partners.
- Experience in Air Export operations, including handling and managing shipment processes.
- Knowledge of Forwarding operations and logistics procedures.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in using Cargo Wise a plus.
