Server -- Emmy Squared Pizza, Old Town Alexandria

Love great food, good people, and a dining room with energy? Come serve with us at Emmy Squared Pizza. We’re a lively neighborhood spot known for Detroit-style pizza and genuine hospitality. We’re looking for someone who can make guests feel welcome, keep things moving, and bring a little personality to every shift.

You’ll help guests find their new favorite, from the first hello to the last bite. Whether you’re sharing menu recommendations, keeping an eye on your tables, or helping a teammate during a rush, you’ll play a big part in making every visit a good one.

What you’ll do:

• Welcome guests and make them feel at home throughout their visit.

• Learn the menu, daily specials, and beverage offerings so you can answer questions and make helpful recommendations.

• Take accurate orders, including modifications and dietary needs, and communicate them clearly to the kitchen.

• Deliver food and drinks promptly, check in with guests, and make sure everything is to their liking.

• Keep your section clean and organized, and help reset tables for the next guests.

• Work closely with the bar, kitchen, hosts, and fellow servers to keep service flowing.

• Listen and respond with care when a guest needs help, and involve a manager when needed.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Have serving experience in a full-service restaurant.

• Enjoy connecting with people and making thoughtful suggestions.

• Stay organized and attentive when the restaurant gets busy.

• Communicate clearly and pitch in to help your teammates.

• Are comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout a shift.
