Summary
The Vice President (VP) of Sales is a critical member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), reporting directly to the Managing Director. This role has full responsibility for revenue generation, sales strategy, and customer engagement across all channels and segments. Beyond leading the sales function, the VP of Sales plays a key role in shaping company priorities, ensuring commercial execution is fully aligned with broader business objectives. As an ELT member, the VP of Sales is jointly accountable for the overall performance and culture of the company, bringing the customer perspective into strategic discussions, collaborating with peers to align priorities, and driving sustainable growth and long-term value.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel sales strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives and revenue goals.
- Assume full P&L accountability for sales performance across all channels.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the entire sales organization, setting ambitious targets, fostering accountability, and driving a high-performance culture across all sales teams.
- Collaborate with Revenue Growth Management efforts including customer segmentations, promotional investment optimization, pricing and customer/product mix strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and expansion opportunities.
- Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue projections for all channels to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
- Establish and maintain standardized sales processes, methodologies, and performance metrics across all channels to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and other teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with product offerings, market trends, and customer needs.
- Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and new revenue opportunities, providing actionable insights
- Drive business development initiatives to expand into new channels, customer segments, or markets.
- Develop and implement sales training programs, tools, and resources to enhance the skills and capabilities of the entire sales organization.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sales operations, streamline workflows, and enhance customer experience.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote brand visibility, thought leadership, and business development.
Personally participate in or negotiate high-value strategic deals as required.
Qualifications
Required qualifications, skills, and experience for the job; education background, certifications, relevant work experience, technical skills, and soft skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in senior sales leadership roles with 15 years of experience driving revenue growth across multiple sales channels.

- Demonstrated ability to identify new revenue opportunities for sustainable growth.
- Strong strategic planning, analytical, and business acumen, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
