Red hot Emmett’s on Grove is a lively restaurant & bar seeking a friendly, responsible, and dedicated hospitality professional to create an inviting experience for guests.

Following the success of our original location, Emmett’s, Emmett’s on Grove is a Midwest inspired supper club offering tavern style pizza, reimagined Italian classics, and an unparalleled beverage program. Celebrating the spirit of a classic American Tavern with European influences, we pair the warmth of a neighborhood restaurant with an elevated experience of a New York dining destination.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: 80-90k
• PTO after 6 months of employment
• Secondary health insurance benefits (dental, vision, life insurance and more) subsidized after 6 months at the company

Responsibilities:

• Act as liaison between guests, FOH & BOH staff, management and ownership
• Recruit, onboard and coach top performing talent
• Oversee Beverage Inventory & Programming in conjunction with Sommelier and Bar team
• Plan and implement service strategy in conjunction with the Maitre d’ and Floor Manager
• Assist GM in motivating staff to achieve organizational and operational objectives
• Inspire exceptional guest service while creating a fun and memorable ambiance
• Be an ambassador for Emmett’s and Emmett’s on Grove
  
  

Requirements:

• Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills
• Minimum of 2 years in a service leadership role at a restaurant
• Wines & beverage knowledge
• Demonstrated interest in the hospitality industry
