Evening Shift Mechanical Technician / Machining Apprentice
Training Hours (4wks) - M-Th: 6:00am - 3:30pm, Fri: 6:00am - 10:00am
Apprentice Hours (Approx. 1yr): 3:00pm - 1:30am (Mon - Thurs)
Pay Rate as Apprentice: $20-$25 based on experience
Post Apprentice (after 1yr) Pay: $25 - $36 based on ability
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair Activities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections to verify proper operation of equipment
- Install, assemble, and disassemble mechanical components
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Coordinate shipping/packaging of materials
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Work Environment:
- Indoors; HVAC Controlled Work Environment
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
