Requirements of the Direct Care Professional:
- Must work a second shift schedule of 2pm-10pm Monday- Friday including an on-call rotation
- This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation of our 40 bed adult shelter.
- Ensure timely referral, screening, intake process for shelter guests.
- Maintain detailed log of shift activities including incident reports as needed
- Monitor and address guest safety concerns
- Maintain a calendar of volunteers for food and meal preparation and ensure meals are delivered in a timely fashion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and detail oriented with strong follow through.
- Able to read, write and speak in English.
- Must have be able to pass a driving record and CORI check
- Must be vaccinated against COVID19
