What are the responsibilities and job description for the Men's Shelter Support Staff position at Emmaus Haven?
The Emergency Homeless Shelter operates 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. We are seeking a part time staff to fill the second or third shifts and sometimes weekends. Staff provide comprehensive and responsive services to the residents of the shelter, provide shift reports, and support a clean and well-maintained facility. Staff also facilitate social and wellness activities for residents.
Experience assessing emergencies and providing crisis support is required, along with excellent communication skills. Must be flexible and able to work independently.
Must have reliable transportation, have a clean background, and pass a drug test.
Work Schedule: Various shifts to cover - 12:00 am – 8:00 am, 4:00 pm – 12:00 am, and/or weekends as needed.
