Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Certified Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all pool guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, emergency response capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe aquatic environment. Duties
- Monitor swimming areas continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including performing first aid and CPR as needed
- Conduct regular pool maintenance, including cleaning pool decks, skimming debris, and ensuring water quality standards
- Assist guests with pool-related inquiries, providing excellent guest services and ensuring a positive experience
- Perform routine pool cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining proper chemical levels
- Conduct safety inspections of pool equipment and surrounding areas to identify potential hazards
- Heavy lifting of supplies or equipment related to pool maintenance or setup when necessary
Experience
- Prior lifeguard experience preferred, with current certification in CPR and First Aid
- Knowledge of pool maintenance and cleaning procedures is a plus
- Experience in guest services or customer-facing roles is desirable
- Ability to swim proficiently and perform rescue techniques under pressure
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Certification in lifeguarding from an accredited organization is required for employment
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 per week
