What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead 2 year old preschool teacher position at Emmanuel Baptist Church Dayschool?
We are looking for an experienced Lead Teacher to join our "family" and provide guidance, love, and education to a classroom of 8 two year old students. The successful candidate will have experience working with small children, a love and compassion for small children, and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for developing lesson plans, providing instruction, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with other teachers to ensure a positive learning environment. The Lead Teacher needs to have a strong work-ethic and a positive attitude with people. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to make a difference in the lives of children.
Responsibilities:
Remember that children need stability. A candidate that can show up to work daily, on time, and prepared is the ideal candidate.
- Develop and implement lesson plans and activities that meet the needs of all students.
- Be able to change diapers/potty train
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment which meets Louisiana state licensing requirements.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and other staff members.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement curriculum.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
