Emma's Restaurant Manager (Front of House) plays a vital role in overseeing a medium-sized team of 10-15 employees to ensure seamless daily operations and exceptional customer experiences. Reporting directly to the Owners and coordinating closely with the Head Chef, this position manages front-of-house activities including customer service, scheduling, inventory, vendor coordination, and bar operations. The manager supports regular service as well as private parties and special events, maintaining high standards in health and safety compliance and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead front of house staff to deliver excellent customer service
- Create and maintain bi-weekly staff schedules ensuring optimal coverage
- Oversee inventory control and bar ordering to maintain stock levels
- Handle cash management duties to ensure accurate transactions
- Train new employees and provide ongoing staff development
- Enforce health and safety compliance according to regulations
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and service quality
- Supervise operations during regular service, private parties, and events
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management
- Bartending experience preferred
