Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring clear communication with the kitchen.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Support team members by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and helping with food preparation when needed
Requirements
- Previous breakfast restaurant or food service experience preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems experience
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales opportunities
- Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or cashiering is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy; familiarity with cash registers required
