EMM Loans is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Final Docs Coordinator to join our team in Cherry Hill, NJ. This entry-level position is a great opportunity to begin or grow your career in the mortgage industry with a company that values accuracy, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
What You’ll Do
As a Final Docs Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in the post-closing process, ensuring all critical mortgage documents are received, reviewed, and delivered accurately and on time. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Mail Processing: Open and prepare incoming mail for document scanning.
Scanning: Digitize and organize loan documents for secure storage and processing.
Document Review: Verify accuracy of original recorded mortgages and final title policies, ensuring all required information is present and correct.
Shipping: Package and ship finalized documents to investors.
Reporting: Manage and maintain reports received from investors.
Inbox Management: Monitor and respond to communications in the final docs email inbox.
Portal Management: Upload required documents to investor portals.
Correspondence: Communicate with settlement agents and investors via phone and email to follow up on the status of documents and resolve outstanding items.
What We’re Looking For
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and data entry systems)
A positive, team-oriented attitude
Previous mortgage or office experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate!
