What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Community Manager position at Emlin Group?
You will work closely with the Property Manager to help drive operational excellence, resident satisfaction, occupancy growth, and the successful execution of community improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
Operations & Financial Support
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, rent collections, and delinquency management
- Support expense control and revenue optimization efforts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and housing regulations
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and resident files
Capital Improvement Coordination
- Assist with vendor coordination and project scheduling
- Communicate renovation updates to residents in a professional manner
- Help track project timelines, unit readiness, and completion milestones
- Support the successful execution of community improvement projects
Leasing & Occupancy Growth
- Support leasing initiatives and marketing outreach efforts
- Assist with resident retention and renewal programs
- Help drive traffic, conversions, and occupancy goals
- Maintain accurate availability and inventory reporting
Resident Relations
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and prospects
- Address resident concerns promptly and professionally
- Build positive relationships that contribute to resident satisfaction
- Serve as a reliable, solutions-focused team member during periods of change and growth
What We're Looking For
- Multifamily property management experience required
- Experience supporting capital improvement projects preferred
- Exposure to lease-up, repositioning, or turnaround environments is highly desirable
- Strong financial, administrative, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
