Assignment Details
- Position: Transportation Staff
- Location: Washington
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration of Contract: New School Year 2025–26
- Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and other designated locations
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during transit
- Assist students entering and exiting vehicles, including those with special needs
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of transportation vehicles
- Follow established routes and schedules while adhering to traffic and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and administrators regarding transportation needs or issues
- Report any incidents, mechanical issues, or delays promptly
- Support students in maintaining respectful and safe behavior during transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver’s license; commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements preferred
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug screenings
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, reliability, and a commitment to safety
- Ability to follow directions and maintain professionalism under all circumstances
