• Position: Math Teacher
• Location: California
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Start Date: ASAP
• Total Hours Per Week: 35 hours per week
• Duration of Contract: New School Year 2025–26

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality math instruction aligned with state standards and school curriculum
• Develop engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning
• Assess student learning using formative and summative assessments to guide instructional decisions
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of all students
• Provide academic support, tutoring, and enrichment opportunities as needed
• Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and communication
• Create a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented classroom environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field required
• Master’s degree in Education or Mathematics preferred
• Valid California Teaching Credential in Mathematics (Single Subject) or Multiple Subject with math emphasis required
• Prior experience teaching math at the elementary or middle school level preferred
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction and use data to inform teaching practices
• Proficiency with educational technology tools and math instructional software
