- Total Hours Per Week: 35 hours per week
- Duration of Contract: New School Year 2025–26
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality math instruction aligned with state standards and school curriculum
- Develop engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning
- Assess student learning using formative and summative assessments to guide instructional decisions
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of all students
- Provide academic support, tutoring, and enrichment opportunities as needed
- Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and communication
- Create a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented classroom environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field required
- Master’s degree in Education or Mathematics preferred
- Valid California Teaching Credential in Mathematics (Single Subject) or Multiple Subject with math emphasis required
- Prior experience teaching math at the elementary or middle school level preferred
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction and use data to inform teaching practices
- Proficiency with educational technology tools and math instructional software
