EMIT Learning is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to work on our school campus in Dudley, MA, for the 2025-26 school year.
Position Details:
- Job Title: School Psychologist
- Location: Dudley, MA
- Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 2026 (with strong potential for renewal for the 2026–27 school year)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | Standard School Hours
- Hourly Rate: $50 – $60/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
- Credential Required: School Psychologist (certification/License)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students’ learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations for educational planning and interventions.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and other support staff.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address academic, social, and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to design and implement effective behavior management strategies.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid State School Psychologist License/Certification (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Experience working with students in K–12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
