Full job description
Emissary Ventures is seeking highly skilled and mission-focused Helicopter Pilots to support a broad range of flights worldwide. This position requires sound aeronautical judgment, the ability to perform under pressure, and the ability to work autonomously and in a crew environment. This position involves working in varying weather conditions, both day and night. Pilots may be required to fly in challenging airspace environments, operate at low altitudes, and respond to rapidly evolving situations. Rotating shift work, on-call availability, and occasional extended duty hours may be required.
This position is being recruited in support of potential future contract awards, and qualified candidates may be considered for upcoming opportunities supporting federal government clients.
Responsibilities
- Plan, brief, execute, and debrief assigned flights in accordance with company procedures, SOPs, contract requirements, and all applicable FAA, ICAO, and host-nation regulations.
- Conduct aircraft preflight, calculate aircraft performance, and coordinate with maintenance personnel.
- Assist with the identification and mitigation of operational hazards to strengthen the safety culture of the company.
- Effectively operate in remote or potentially austere environments with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and extended duty periods.
- Protect sensitive information in accordance with U.S. Government and company security policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Rotorcraft-Helicopter rating; Instrument Rating required.
- Minimum 1,000 total flight hours.
- Minimum 500 hours in helicopters.
- Valid FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
- Current U.S. Passport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active security clearance.
- Bell 407 experience.
- Prior military or government aviation experience.
- Certified flight instructor.
Pay: $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
