Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and low voltage testing equipment to diagnose issues and perform maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Work on construction sites performing wiring, conduit installation, framing carpentry, and renovation projects with precision and safety awareness.
- Conduct routine inspections of high voltage and line voltage systems to ensure safety compliance and operational reliability.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols and building codes.
Requirements
- Valid license as a professional electrician with state of WI.
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician or residential electrician with a strong background in construction or renovation projects.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC regulations, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and electrical code compliance.
- Ability to work safely on construction sites while performing framing carpentry or other tasked as required.
- Strong understanding of power tools, hand tools, power tool safety procedures, and construction site safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities for team collaboration.
