Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Write detailed service estimates using Tekmetric software, clearly explaining recommended repairs and maintenance procedures
- Communicate effectively with technicians regarding vehicle diagnostics, repair status, and additional service opportunities
- Upsell necessary services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work and shocks & struts to maximize customer satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper documentation of all service orders and payments
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring clients leave satisfied with their experience
- Maintain thorough knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems to assist in explaining repairs and service recommendations confidently
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or automotive service writing using Tekmetric highly preferred
- Familiarity in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of various automotive systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell services tactfully while maintaining integrity
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately along with strong organizational skills
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
