About the Role
Emily Rose Dance Creations is looking for reliable, friendly Front Desk Receptionist(s) to be the welcoming face of our dance studio. A dance background is required so you can easily understand studio operations, speak knowledgeably with parents, and help with recitals without needing extensive training.
We need coverage seven days a week (primarily weekday evenings and weekend mornings) and are hiring up to three or less part-time team members to fill these shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Communication: Answer phones, emails, and texts; greet families warmly; and take accurate class attendance.
- Sales & Trials: Welcome prospective families, guide them through trial classes, deliver our studio pitch, and help enroll new students.
- Studio Upkeep: Handle light cleaning, keep the studio tidy, restock supplies, and assist with miscellaneous tasks.
- Recital & Event Support: Utilize your dance background to help with seasonal events, costume hand-outs, and recital organization.
Qualifications
- Required: Prior dance background/familiarity with dance studio workflows and recitals.
- Core Traits: Highly reliable, punctual, and meticulous with attention to detail.
- Skills: Excellent communication, strong interpersonal and basic sales skills, and great organizational habits.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekday evenings and/or weekend mornings.
