Wetherbee School is seeking a Grade 2 teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate possesses a belief that all students are capable of learning. Experience with co-teaching and inclusion practices, including collaborative planning, are recommended. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Knowledge of early childhood development and best instructional practices • Familiarity with the CKLA curriculum and Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks • Strong classroom management and organizational skills • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in using instructional technology • Cultural competency and commitment to serving a diverse student population • Capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and support staff • Willingness to reflect on practice and implement feedback Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Experience in collaborating with social service agencies. • Strong facilitation and communication skills. • Proficient in English. • Bilingual Candidates Preferred. • Experience with at-risk youth.
