Description
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (CF candidates welcome)
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially in educational settings.
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and school personnel
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct formal and informal evaluations and re-evaluations as well as all other professional activities consistent with timelines and requirements of the law, rules and regulations, and local district policies and procedures.
- Compile formal and informal information from a variety of sources into a written report to assist in the determination of eligibility, educational need and identification of programming needs utilizing the district's template.
- Coordinate and/or participate as a member of the ARD committee.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy services.
- Provide direct therapy services to students to improve communication skills, articulation, language, fluency, and voice abilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students’ academic and social success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student data/progress.
Position Type: This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
Position Details:
- Full-time on-site for the 2025-2026 school year.
- Up to 37.5 hours per week / M-F.
- Part-time positions may be available if preferred.
- Maternity leave coverage positions may be available if preferred.
- Elementary-High school age caseload options based on preference

$60 - $65 per hour
